This is a set of 8 clips from films with iconic sound design starting in the 1930s and moving every few decades up to the 2020s with the sound design completely redone from scratch. Each film was thoroughly researched to discover the unique approaches applied to the creation of its sound design and the artistic choices behind it. Once the background for each clip had been established Renata re-created all the sonic elements on her own including sound effects, voice over, Foley, and mixing, paying homage to certain moments and moving in new creative directions in others. The goal of this project was to create as much original sound design as possible and almost all the sounds used in these re-creations were recorded, edited, and designed from scratch. In the Deep is a preview into Renata's personal oceanic, underwater, and submarine sound effects library that consists of ocean ambience, underwater hydrophone sound effects, submarine alarms, impacts, and drones.
All sounds were created from scratch by Renata Schmult.

Galactic Shoot Out is a preview into Renata's personal sci-fi, space, and alien sound effects library that consists of space ambience, alien voices, sci-fi gun fire, explosions, spaceship beeps, flying, and emf recordings .

Haunted Forest - Renata Schmult
Haunted Forest is a sound effects and music loop intended for a video game. All sounds in the music and sound effects tracks are original and made from scratch with the exception of the creaking trees.
float - Renata Schmult
float is a piece composed entirely with vocal samples. The music creates an immersive experience as the listener is pulled down into the water by the voices of spirits.

Noctre Creaturae is an entirely sampled piece composed with a horror film in mind. The listener is given a tour through a dark Alice in Wonderland as creatures of the night creep out and augment reality.
